Overview

Our plan was to stop somewhere along the way to Boulder (drive from my hometown is around 6 hrs), and have some fun to make the drive more enjoyable. I suggested ice climbing around Vail, which turned out being a great distraction from a long drive. I did not expect much ice climbing since San Juans have the best ice climbs in Colorado, but Rigid Designator was tons of fun. The Fang unfortunately did not form this year. We were hoping to climb both. I think it is one of the ice climbs I would enjoy doing all over and over again. And definitively, have to come back for the Fang.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
