Product Description

A classic design that's long on features and short on frills, the Cadillac is versatile enough to be used on sport climbs or big walls, but shines brightest on traditional routes. Constructed wide for comfort, the Cadillac incorporates an inner waist belt layer that spreads forces over 2.7 times more padded surface area, making it more comfortable at belays and working out crux sections. The contour cut swami is 4.3" wide in the back for support, narrowing to just 2" at the tie in. Adjustable leg loops taper from a wide 3" in back to an unobtrusive 1.3" in front, and they're wrapped in a wide lightweight nylon webbing which spreads forces over twice the surface area for comfort.

Wt. 19.7 oz./558 gr. $94.95 Sizes: XS-XXL

Features

* Double buckle swami for a wide range of adjustment

Cadillac!
This is the real deal for trad climbing!
With 6 large gear loops, it is easy to keep your safety gear [cordelette, prussics, extra lockers, etc] separate from your protective gear and slingage.
The wide back and leg loops make it very comfortable for raps and hanging belays, while the taper brings a minimal amount of material to the front, to reduce bulk. The wide swami also allows you to carry lots of gear on the loops without becoming uncomfortable, or slipping down.
Safety features include a "DANGER" warning stamped on the buckles visible when they are not doubled back, and wear out stitching in the swami to indicate when its time to replace the harness.
This harness is adjustable, to a certain extent. Measure your waist above the hip bones, and use that to order by. If you are dieting or eating a lot of Cheetos, you might want to wait for your weight to stabilize before ordering this harness. That said, there will be enough adjustment to add layers of clothing, To help you order the right size, there is a sizing chart on their web site.
Far and away the best harness I have owned!
This is a versatile harness that will take you from the gym to the sport crags to that 11 pitch trad route up Blodgett Canyon

Great harness from a great company
This is my go to harness for multipitch trad. It's really comfortable, and the gear loops are well placed for easy access and organization. It's definitely light enough to be a trad harness, but the large padding section across the back is comfortable enough that a friend of mine uses it as his harness for Grade V walls.

As an added bonus, you'll be buying from Misty Mountain, who have outstanding customer service and give a lot back to local climbing.
