This high-stretch kernmantle rope with dry treatment is designed primarily for rock climbing and mountaineering.

Dry treatment resists moisture absorption and repels dirt, prolonging the life of the rope and reducing weight on snow
9.5mm diameter is light and useful on difficult pitches but is still strong enough to use as a single rope
60-meter length allows longer leads and rappels

Imported.

I bought this rope earlier this year for alpine climbing. I purchased it, during a sale at REI, due to the superdry coat and the sub 10mm size. This 60m rope packs well and isn't very heavy compared to ropes I've owned in the last 10 years. After using it for a week in the Olympics I have no complaints. The dry finish worked not only to keep it fairly dry but also helped in keeping it cleaner.

I have one for more than 3 years and used it for all kind of mountaineering.
It´s lighter than others and I very much like the stable handling.
Even though there has been "heavy" use there are not to many signs of usage.
The coating/impregnation helps a lot when going for ski-mountaineering or crossing glaciers in the summer. The rope stys dry.
High price, but definitely woth it!

Awesome rope. I have used this rope trad climbing for 5 days a week for just over a year now, and it has proven durable. The rope is starting to show some wear, but it has also been through a lot of heavy use. Great lightweight rope for those long routes, and the dry treatment really helps to reduce rope drag. As soon as I need to retire mine, I am going to buy a new one.

Great
Have used it for hundreds of pitches in the Flatirons and RMNP. I'm so glad I'm not lugging my heavy 10.5mm anymore. I love using this rope and it still is in great shape even after heavy use. Will buy another when the time comes!
