Polartec® Power Dry® materials were developed to keep the body dry during physical exertion. All the materials in this range are noted for their patented two-component knit construction which uses two different yarns for both sides. This creates a material with two different surfaces: one draws moisture away from the body, the other dries quickly. Light Power Dry® fabric with waffle structure inside which acts as a spacer against the skin, allowing heat to circulate. Super insulation with low weight and fast drying. Ideal to wear right against the skin. Composition: 97% Polyester, 3% Elasthan.

Mammut does it again!
I picked this zip top up at an after Holiday sale for about $50. I previously bought one of those $99 Arcteryx Rho AR tops and found the Mammut Cotopaxi to be better. In 2009 you can find a decent polartec fleece at a 99 cents wholesale store in the city, So when I paid so much for the Arcteryx Rho and found it to be nothing more than regular polartec fleece (cut slim for climbing activities) I wasn't too happy. The Cotopaxi is slimmer in cut and thinner with a waffle fleece knit underside but just as warm and weather proof as the thicker, chunky Arcteryx Rho AR zip. And when the Cotopaxi sells for a measly retail pice of $79 or sale price of $49 what more can you ask for.

Pros:
-Easy to wear
-Doesnt retain body odor
-Stretchy and great for ice climbing
-Well priced considering the current recession.
-Extra long chest zip great for venting
-Colors are unique

Cons
-Very slim cut and torso length is shorter than expected so size up by one size larger
