I have been using these for over two years, and find them very useful. They convert from a standard length runner to a double-length runner (single strand) in a flash, a feature I have used many times.
They are a bit more expensive than the Yates version, but they are also stronger (22kN vs. 17 kN) and longer (44" vs. 40").
They are almost twice as heavy as a 48" Mammut Dyneema Contact Sling, but just a little lighter than a BD 12mm x 120cm spectra runner. They are more versatile than either.
