I like this balaclava so far. It fits my head well and is just a bit loose around the eyes. The eye opening is loose enough to pull the balaclava down around my neck w/o getting choked. Despite being a bit loose I can still get my goggles to seal well over the opening. The material blocks wind well but I have not really had it tested. Fits well under my Petzel helmet. Four stars until I get to test it in really cold weather.

Update: I used this in sub zero temps and you need to add another hat on top. Also even though it is a wind resistant fabric it does let wind in to your ears and they can get cold in windy colder temps.

It dries really fast and does not seem to hold moisture much at all. I wore it all night long on a -15 degree F night and it did not frost up or hold moisture. It is very comfortable but if you have a bigger head stay away from this one size fits all balaclava. Like this balaclava alot but it wont be the last one I buy.
