Initial Review

This jacket is far and away my favorite piece of gear. It has a narrow cut, and tends to be very form fitting. It does an excellent job shedding both wind and most precip, while also providing great ventilation options with the pit zips and venting Napoleon pockets. The jacket has a very soft feel, but the material is incredibly durable and I have yet to snag or tear it. The hood fits well over a helmet. I love this jacket, and have spent nearly 150 days in the backcountry with it, including 18 straight days on Denali. Can't write enough good things about it!
