Re: Striking!Thank you kindly, Kathy!
How are those Autumn leaves coming along? I met somebody from Rhode Island the other day - they're stuck here in AZ with a 9 to 5 job.
Do you have any more photos - I'd like to
bring up your "power level" a little bit more! :)
Was that the Red Sox that won the championship??? Man, I really need to visit
Boston one of these days! Take care!

So kind!I have more pics; just need to move them from back-up drive to my ailing laptop to work on (label etc.). I'm in the process of buying of a new puter. We are finally getting some color here in Maryland. I'm doing some easy backpacking next weekend with beginners so I hope to capture the peak! Guys in my house follow the sports, especially the Redskins and Capitals. Bye for now, Kathy

Re: Very dramaticThank you kindly, Sir!
Looking upstream from its lower end, Salome
(Sally Mae) Canyon is an impressive sight.
The "high" peaks of the Sierra Anchas and
the conical-shaped pinnacles near the mouth
of the canyon (gypsum deposits) form an
impressive backdrop for the bright green
cottonwoods that mark the creek's course as
it meanders toward (awesome) Roosevelt Lake!
Roosevelt Lake is fondly known as "AZ's
Great Lake!"
Thanks again for the kind comment. -LARRY
