OfflineA Little About Me
I am a junior investment officer of a life insurance underwriter in Wichita, KS.
My experience in the mountains is limited to day hiking in "touristy" areas of Colorado (which I have done quite a bit of), and some hiking and camping in Wyoming.
I want to learn rock climbing, ice, etc. but living in Kansas is proving to be troublesome. As a remedy, I plan to travel to Colorado several times during 2007. My first trip is going to be a long weekend in May camping at Guenella Pass and climbing Mt. Evans and Mt. Bierstadt, probably Memorial weekend. As of now, I am unsuccessful at getting any of my friends to go along, so, it looks like I might be a loner on the trip. That being said, if anyone has any advice or, perhaps, would like to come along, just shoot me an email and we'll talk.
Great Quote: | "Nobody spends somebody else's money as carefully as he spends his own. Nobody uses somebody else's resources as carefully as he uses his own. So if you want efficiency and effectiveness, if you want knowledge to be properly utilized, you have to do it through the means of private property." -- Milton Friedman |

Another Great Quote: | "Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." - Mark Twain |
And Another: | "If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand." -- Milton Friedman |
And Finally: | "To accomplish great things, we must dream as well as act." - - Anatole France |
