White Shooting Star (Dodecatheon dentatum)

White shooting star (also known as dentate shooting star) grows along streams and other wet places in southern British Columbia south through the Olympic Mountains and Cascades Mountains of Washington to Oregon. It is disjunct in north central Idaho. This photo is from Multnomah Falls in the Columbia Gorge of Oregon. May 1986.
