Early November Ascent
Ascent from Lama di Peligni via Fonte Tarì and Colle d'Acquaviva on an exceptionally warm and beautiful day in November. Some snow from about 2,350m. Continued for Monte Macellaro, Cima di Fondo di Majella and Monte Amaro. Spectacular view and sunrise from the summit. Descent via Piano Amaro and Vallone di Taranta. A lovely roundtrip, despite the brutal elevation gain with a heavy bag.
