I'm pretty excited to see this peak added to the SP database. I have heard that it's a bear of a little peak (no pun intended). Actually, until you posted this page, I have only heard of failed attempts. Congratulations on you climb and thanks for the beta.
Thanks - I do enjoy putting up some of the more obscure peaks, so they get the attention they deserve. I did actually find one successful trip report at the following link:

Bear Mountain is rarely done... At one time in the past, it was done only once every 10-15 years. Perhaps this will give it more exposure. No pun intended.

Sounds like that route may be a little more involved, as they spent about 15 hours on the mountain!
