Almost thought we weren't going to be able to "summit" since it was a national holiday. But the gate was left open and we had the whole area to ourselves. Beautiful drive and it was a great trip over to Indiana's HP as well.

On a community college campus? Sure, why not!
State HP #42....a pleasant summit area, however in the back of this small college campus. It was easy to find as summer had finally arrived with temps around 90! First of two HP's, as we drove over to Indiana afterwards. Check it off!!
Drove over from Indiana - nice, well maintained highpoint and informative sign about Campbell Hill.

HP #35
Drove over from Indiana and it was STILL very snowy. Decided not to try to drive the last unplowed bit and walked up from the main building where there were tracks in the snow. HP had a nice area, but it was cold so I booked back to the car and drove to Dayton for a pint at Toxic Brewery (great spot).

Campbell Hill
Not exactly a towering mountain, but still holds the honor of being a state highpoint.

HP No. 19
"Summited" with my wife (No. 12). Nice HP, lots of corn nearby. On the way to Indiana.
Nice day trip from Port Huron, MI where I was visiting family. Swung by the Champaign Cty HP in Ohio and over to Hoosier Hill in Indiana. Robert, one of the security officers at the Voc. school, was very friendly and made the trip even more enjoyable!

The main gate to the campus was closed, but the man gate was open. We got there around 5PM. The little monument sort of deal they have is very nice. Nice shout out to the 664th Radar.

Highpoint #5!
Visited with my boyfriend a few days ago. It was a nice walk up to the top of the hill. The area around the highpoint was very well maintained. It was my 5th highpoint and my boyfriend's second.

Freezing
Came on Sunday so I called woman to make sure pedestrian gate was open and she couldn't be nicer so no issues. Even though this was technically spring it was extremely cold and windy and I only stayed like 5 minutes because I underestimated this mighty hill. HP #26

1st high point in years
Took a trip across the country and decided to incorporate high pointing in to it. First one in years... I knew it wasn't going to be too challenging to hike, but my challenge was going to be fitting as many high points into the schedule as possible and still make my destination on time.
Nothing remarkable, yet it's one I can cross off the list.
