Hiking to Charles Mound, IL

Walked through the gate and up the Owners Lane to the High Point Marker 1 mile from the road. We went up past the cow pasture on the right, past the barns, till we reached the summit. There is a sign on the Lane that requests hikers not proceed further to the Owners house around the bend. We left a mug from AZ, and signed the register we found in a milk box at the summit. We proceeded back down the hill and to our car. Total time was about 1 hour.
