Humbug dascyllus – Zebrahal (8 cm)
White with three black bars converging at black D fin. Inhabits shallow protected lagoons, reef flats, bays and patch reefs, 0,3 to 20 m. Common, in colonies closely tied to branching Acropora and Pocillopora corals. Aggregate above corals to feed on zooplankton, and wedge themselves amond the branches when frightened.
Range: Red Sea to Fr. Polynesia, north to Ryukyus, south to S. Africa.
