Oxymonacanthus halli

Harlequin filefish - Harlequin levélhal (7 cm) Blue-greenwith orange spots. Inhabits coral-rich areas of lagoons, bays and sheltered seaward reefs, 0,5 to 31 m. Typically in pairs among Acropora corals or among branched Millepora fire corals. Occasionelly in groups. Feeds exclusively on Acropora coral polyps wich are extracted from their calices. Range: Red Sea only.
