The hike was relatively easy with the exception of some small scrambling near the summit. I have been to the overlook many a time, so the summit view was a first. Where the split occurred to go to the summit was a little hard to find. When you are hiking up you will see a large rock wall in front of you. Turn to the left despite the more obvious trail going right, that will take you to the overlook. To get to the summit, you'll have to jump a downed tree. Some trail maintenance could be in order! But overall a very nice scenic hike in the front range!
