A drive on Highway 395 from Sonora Pass to Owens Valley.
State highway 395 runs most of the length of the Eastern Sierra from Reno Nevada over 300 miles south to Ridgecrest in the Mojave Desert. This is one of the most spectacular scenic routes in North America with the scarp of the High Sierra rising evermore dramatically as one drives south and drops into Owens Valley.This is a collection of shots from Sonora Pass north of Yosemite to the Bishop area in Owens Valley, summer 2011.
