not class 5!
The east ridge gully is definitely NOT class 5. with proper route finding, it is class 4. you just have to take your time to follow the path of least resistance. it is exposed and fairly steep but the holds are plentiful and good.
Don't let the 5.6 rating in the main route description deter you from doing this route.

Most Difficult - Ever
This was a first for me, Class 5 climbing - alone. I can still hardly believe I survived!
