Expedition-style mountaineering in Kamchatka, Klyuchevskaya Sopka range
In July 2013 we climbed 4 volcanoes in Kamchatka peninsula during our unsupported 3-weeks expedition, namely: Ostry Tolbachik, Bolshaya Udina, Ovalnaya Zimina and Krestovsky. There was 8 people in the group; the kick-off backpack weight was 35kg per person for boys and 25kg for girls :)Originally I planned to climb 6 summits so I rather consider the trip to be a success!
