Flagpole, Echo

Conditions and weather we're good. Flagpole, Echo peak, then headed south and home via the
ridge south of the lake (Is the first peak called Ralston, then talking
mountain or something heading east?). So managed to do both ridges
around the lakes - a10hr day.

Snow conditions were good, compact and stable - half an inch to an inch compaction under
foot in the morning, then up to 4-6 inches in the afternoon up on the
ridge. Used snowshoes later in the day when it was soft and I wasn't
scrambling! The road up to the lake is covered in compacted snow with
the exception of two small (20 feet) stretches. Flagpole was effectively
a dry scramble with very little snow. The class 3 moves were dry. The
southern ridge however was an interesting mix of snow and rock for
scrambling.
