Having lived in North Wales I have climbed this mountain many times, yet it never ceases to thrill, with the many route options..

Via sub-Cneifon & Cneifon, nice scrambles with an alpine feel

Walked up via several peaks after a days climbing around (not up) Cenetaph Corner. Spent the night camping in the col between Glyder Fawr and Fach. Wonderful.

Perfect weather, fantastic views. The cantilever would've been worth the climb even without such good weather. Great!

Summited via a fantastic Scotish Grade III 4 gully that was as interesting as anything I have climbed in Scotland. As soon as I find out it's name I'll add the route. Great day for climbing.
EDIT. Route was a variant of Right Hand Gully in Nameless Cwm

I've been over this peak many times, always in the Summer and mostly been blessed with good weather. Except for one day when I had to guide down in a complete whiteout a couple who were spending a 50th birthday with a day's walking!!

I lived at its foot for a time, so love it well. The climbing in Cwm Idwal includes some of the best mountain routes in Wales
