Green Mtn. and 'Bushwhack Hill'
I took the NW slope up—the bushwhacking didn't really feel too bad. I then hiked back down the NW slope to the trail and then hiked off-trail to unofficially named "Bushwhack Hill". Overall, it was a pleasant hike except for the deadfall surrounding the Hill.

My wife and I headed up the nice trail. My wife wasn't interested in climbing over deadfall and hiking thru a beetle killed forest, so she continued to the Big Meadow area while I bushwhacked up the peak from the north. There are views once you are on the ridge from time to time and certainly this mountain is prominent from town of Grand Lake. My wife's efforts were rewarded with nice views of a moose and her calf in the meadow.

Easy hike.

Green - Nisa - Patterson
Hiked all three peaks from the Green Mountain Trailhead. Ascended Green Mountain's Northwest Slope and descended the Northeast Slope. No views from the summit due to the tree coverage.
