Drive Up
Drive up was easy enough. This whole area was burned over by the Ranch Fire in 2018. There's an automated camera lookout on top now. We tried to drive to Goat from here but couldn't find a workable road.

WInter closure
Summit Road closed for yhe winter Jan 2 - Apr 1, 2015. Walked the last mile on a crystal clear sunny February day that seemed like summer.
Yes the views are marvelous, with Gpat and Snow Mountains hulking behind.
Also did Sky Rock nearby, downhill bushwhack followed by class 3 scramble

Perfect day
Couldn't have asked for a better day. The drive up is beautiful and the road was in good shape. Stunning views. Glad the gate was closed. The mile walk up was nice and made me feel I earned the peak.
