Island Lake Peak
Climbed on a beautiful fall day along with North Tent, South Tent, and the San Pete Peaks. Camped at Island Lake.

11071
First we did Marys Nipple and Nipple Ridge, then 11071/Island Lake Peak, then 10793, and finally Block Mt. There was 1 very annoying large snowpatch on the road and we almost had to turn around but we found a way around it.

Quickie After Work
A fairly easy stroll to the summit the day after I was thwarted by the muddy steepness of the road from Mayfield just above Woods Lake. The route from Salina is much easier. The views from up top are absolutely amazing in all directions, and the wildflowers on the drive down blew my mind.
