Re: unclimbed?jfox, This was the word going around at base camp, I cant verify if it hasn't been climbed or not. It certainly has some 'interesting' lines.

Re: unclimbed?Nice shot. Interesting. I'll be in the area within a month and will try to find the name of the peak. From where is the photo shot and in which direction are you looking?

Re: unclimbed?Corax, the name is reasonably easy to find but I just dont have a map with me. The mountain is at the southern edge of Cho Oyu BC. Cho Oyu ABC is located on the opposite side.

"Unclimbed" peakI think it has been climbed, but I'll post a photo of it from the other side (shot from ABC)

Great contrasts! What a jumble of icefalls and hanging glaciers rising above the baren plane. The yaks(?) and people give it nice perspective.

Not unclimbedAccording to this source, Jobo Rabzang (aka Jobo Ribjang or Jowo Razang) has been climbed.
What is unclimbed is the 6895m (or 6907m) high neighbouring peak located 12km further south on the Tibet-Nepal border called Lunag Ri (a.k.a. Jobo Rinzang). More about names here.
Right now a small expedition is attempting the unclimbed Lunag Ri – Jobo Rinzang, check here.
