Approach

Start from the Marion Mountain trail head after the Alandale station off HWY 243 on the left side of the road.

Route Description

Hike up trail for 2.8 miles to a junction with the Seven Pines trail and the Deer Springs trail. Continue East and after a half mile you will reach another trail crossing with the Pacific Crest Trail via Fuller Ridge. Continue on another half a mile and cross country to Drury Peak. The trail itself another .5 mile reaches Little Round Valley.

Essential Gear

Basic Backpacking gear and hiking gear will be needed, You may need snowshoes, ice axe, or crampons if you want to try this trip in the winter, but for the most part its a class 1 hike with no tricks.
