Thanks for adding this mountain. I wasn't sure that anybody would ever add this mountain. I have thought for quite a while it should be added and it is one of the more important mountians in the SFVF since it has more prominence then any other cinder cone in the area. Growing up in the area, everybody that knows of it calls it Merriam Crater. It's even listed as Merriam Crater on the maps. I have never heard of it called Merriam Mountain before.
Thanks. I had not heard of it until recently. The map calls it Merriam Crater but the name tag is directly over the crater. The benchmark (not there anymore) is simply "Merriam". I guessed the hill is called Merriam Mountain, only the crater itself is Merriam Crater.
