Hi daveyboy,
have you thought about adding a section about rock climbing?. the cliffs overlooking Tan Y Grisau reservoir provide excellent climbing and are often dry when those further north in Ogwen, Llanberis or Gwynant are still wet. Also as they are kinda south-facing so they dry quickly. I don't have my own guide book but I've done a few routes over the years on all of the cliffs and have a few fotos.
cheers Johnnie
I have not got a clue about the rock climbing on these summits.
Why dont you add it as a route on the page. Rock climbing would be an interesting addition for the page as there are plenty of SP members that do rock climbing. I am not a rock climber but would be really interested in seeing what you add.
Cheers. David.
Hi David, Jonnie's page is good, but I still think something needs to be said about rock climbing on the main page. Would you like me to add something for you?
Cheers
Dan
If you wish to add a section to this page you are more than welcome to.
As you know I am not that good with knowledge on rock climbing as I do the easier stuff when out on them hills so I will add you to the editors list.
All the best - David.
To my utter shame I have to say I have only just found this wonderful page.
And yes, the Moelwyns are much underrated and much under visited. I've been exploring them for a while now and have ticked off most of the summits. Not that will stop me going back. There are walks to do again and new ones to try out. My favourite now is to park in the hamlet of Croesor and walk from there.
I put this page together when I had only just started with SP. Sadly I did not know the tricks of making aligned images and tables etc. Dan as in Nanuls and myself are looking at giving it a make over as there is a lot more that can be added to as you say a fine set of mountains.
Cheers - David.

It is truly beautiful hill walking countryside.
