"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Got the SummitThis time my dog and I successfully summited by bushwacking our way up using a route up from the south. We started from our campsite so it was a 15 mile day. Fifty feet below the summit was a deceased mountain goat....really sad. The views were simply amazing. 3 hours up and 3 hours down (from our campsite).

No SummitWe hiked from our camp several miles along the forest service road and then tried access from the west but we encountered a gate and a No Trespassing sign blocking the road. We returned to camp, got the Jeep and drove to the access point described on this page. There is a large olywood sign at the access point which states No Public Access so we didn't summit. Beautiful day anyhow.
