A wet and cloudy day in January at the Wailing Wall
See the two parents for the details on Moore's Knob, the beautiful loop trail, and the climb at the Wailing Wall. I thought I would include a few photos.
Moore's Wall. The Amphitheater is at the far left
The Wailing Wall is found at the far left of the Amphitheater. The climb can be done in one long pitch but we chose to break it up into a short pitch to a ledge directly on the arete.

The second pitch is up the Wailing Wall to a break in a large roof. P2 was wet at the top so this turned out to be a bit more challenging than we planned. Glad Aaron led the second pitch.

The rappel is off a tree to the climbers left with slings. We used both ropes tied together, a 60 and a 50 M. The 50 M side had about 20 feet on the ground so the rap is about 150 feet.
