Ha-ha this is awesome!I did that trip more or less the other way around a couple years ago and utilized that couloir to access inabnit. The beartooths are a real special place

Still Need ToTried this the 2nd week of July. Camped where the creek crosses the trail and intended to tag all 4 in a day and return. When I got to the top of plateau the wind nearly knocked me off my feet. Since I live so close, I decided to save it for another day. Retreated back to camp, slept in a bit and read a book until lunchtime. Sometimes a lazy day can be as good as a summit.

Thumbs up TR!I really liked this TR, starting with the self admission of "faults". Made me chuckle as I *might* recognize them myself. :-)
I don't know exactly where this is, but (in general) I recognized the plateau views as some I've seen from the Beartooth highway several times and always with the idea that "I'm going up there someday to explore".
And "at least they didn't bring the cats" almost had me laughing out loud, but that would have disturbed the cats here....
