Mount Price
Traditional fall walk up Mt Price by Bruce and Lassie for 40th wedding anniversary. Easy walk from Lyon's lake trail parking lot via Lyon's Lake. Coyote, lots of grouse, huge red pompoms on buckwheat at about 9,000 feet. Perfect weather, no mosquitoes, no people.

Basically a bump along the ridge but nice views. From Lyons Lake TH.
Day hike via Lyons trailhead and Lyons Lake. Found some good boulders to scramble on during the ascent. Combined with Mt. Agassiz and descended via Sylvia Lake to make a nice loop.

Pyramid to Price in Winter
Up Pyramid from Rocky Creek, then over to Agassiz and Price following the ridge. Snow was pretty hardpacked and very icy on the north side of Pyramid. Never needed snowshoes all day, just crampons. Extremely windy, below freezing, and great views.

My Training Ground
The whole Crystal Range was where I learned to roam ridges. I climbed Price many times and walked the ridge to Pyramid a few, but mostly I just loved exploring the ridge and the little glaciers(not sure if they are still there) and the tiny meadows on the east side near Aloha.
Sometime in the early 90's is when I climbed this beautiful peak. I went around Lake Sylvia to Lake Aloha and then up towards Mosquito Pass and up the slabs to the peak. This was one of my favorite hikes during the time I lived in the area.

Tagged Agassiz first and then headed over to Price.
Up from Sylvia to Pyramid then along the ridge connecting Pyramid - Agassiz - Price. From Price down to Lyons Lake and then back to Sylvia. Way fun adventure of a ridge with overhangs, peaklets, knobs, pine labrynths, and views to absorb. Good times with J.A.

Up the beautiful NW face from Island Lakes. An easy climb, but with views from Mt. Tam and the SF Bay all the way east to Nevada and south to Northern Yosemite, well worth it.
