My best Julian Alps

This album contains all pictures Dorota and me have taken into the mountains of the Julian Alps during our trip of July-August 2007.

During this trip, we made a magnificent 3-days hike from Bohinj to the peak Triglav, visiting numerous interesting sites on the way (Valley of the 7 lakes, Planina v Lazu, etc).
This hike is described into a french trip report which I just translated into English on SP.

Later on (after a bad-weather break during which we went to Italy), we came back in the area. Unfortunaltely, due to capricious weather, we didn't climb any important peak again, but we did some interesting walks around Bovec and the river Reka Soča (river photos attached separately in this page), as well as the Tamar Valley and surroundings of Kranjska Gora, after passing the Predel pass and a short visit to the Italian Lago di Predil.

Julian Alps are not the only Slovenian Alps we visited during this trip. See also my album about Velika Planina.
