After the general crappyness of all my previous map cases I didn't have particularily high hopes for this one, which somewhat sooner than I thought, were proved to be well placed. On my first day of using it, before I'd even set foot on the mountain, the zipper broke and resisted all efforts to be repaired. I have now decided never to buy a map case ever again, and plan to go back to using polythene bags which are lighter, just as waterproof, and more importantly, free.
