nice fall day
had a fun albeit a little unnerving climb of this pretty much unknown peak. There is a fair amount of loose rock and, at least with snow on it, there is potential for falls. Great views. The road in is not too bad. The locals apparantly refer to this as Iron Mountain

Morning Climb
Made it to the top in about 2 hours. Nice summit views of the larger Pioneers. A good peak to do near the Hailey/Ketchum area if you only have half a day. The drive is rugged but wasn't too bad in an Explorer.
I suggest waiting until later in the summer for this one. I took a nasty nasty fall right off into the East Fork River. Bruised knees and drenched clothes accompanied me the entire way. 6 inches of new snow on the boulder hopping sections made this a more difficult climb than it needed to be. Fog and clouds shrowded me the entire length of the summit climb creating somewhat of a vertigo effect. But a beautiful area but ridiculous drive.
