Approach

Route:
Poklon pass (922m)->Mala Ucka village(980m)-> Sedlo saddle(1250m)->Vojak peak 1401m
Required time: 3-4 hours
From Poklon pass, follow the westbound road toward Vela Ucka village.
After 1km, as you  pass the Dopolavoro inn, marked trail for Vojak via Plasa branches left.
 However, you should stick with the main road for another 2km till Vela Ucka village,
 from where carriage road branches to the south. Follow the forementioned road for another 4km or so
(no elevation gain, but no elevation loss either), til Mala Ucka village.
Village is deserted, and located right on the SW foothil of Ucka mountain.

Route Description

From Mala Ucka, hit the steep uphill trail direction NE.
 After 45-50 minutes (and just under 300m elevation gain),
you should find yourself at Sedlo pass (very nice viewpoint)
where marked signpost offers you the folowing choices:
->Lovran (direction east, descend to the coast)
->Suhi Vrh (direction south, nice peak with nice views)
->Poklon (direction north,route via Plasa)
->Vojak, via Ucka hogsback.
 Hit the Vojak trail for another 20-30 minutes steep uphill, and there you are.
On the good day visual orientaion should be no problem, hence there is a clearly visible stone-made lookout tower right on Vojak peak
and some 100 yeards further down the ridge, there is large and easy to spot TV-tower.
