Puna de Atacama

Page Type Page Type: Album
Additional Information Image Type(s): Scenery

Introduction

The Puna de Atacama is located at the Chilean-Argentinian border, east of Copiapo (CHI) and west of Fiambala (ARG).
We spent an incredible week with no one around except for Vicunas and Flamingos.
I thought it would nice to highlight this hardly-known area with an album.

If you have a few colorful shots from this place, feel free to add them !
Find out more about these mountains on Corax's page.

Normally not a fan of albums

as they push this nice-photo-over-information hype on SP, but this one is really picturous and I like it. It does the colours in the Puna justice, which is hard to achieve. One of the few albums that justify the album function!

Re: Normally not a fan of albums

Exactly what I had in mind when I made the album.
Albums are good to highlight a region.

Thanks for your kind comment ;o)

Parents

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.

Related objects are relevant to each other in some way, but they don't form a parent/child relationship. Also, they don't necessarily share the same parent.
