Fun part of a 3 peak day
San Bruno, Twin Peaks and Scarper Peak on the day - for San Bruno I did the Summit Loop, connecting with the Ridge trail and then going up to the platform on the summit. Wound up a total of 4 miles. Pleasant outing. TR is HERE.

Summit Trail
Fogged in. Thick at top. Rain at top. Have to have a word with Mission Control. Still, a wonderful adventure with my sister Annette.

On Bike
Rode my bike to the highest point in the road. Didn't venture off the road to find the true highpoint, I'm sure I'll be back eventually. It was a smoky and very windy day.
Did this hike with david, rad, and al pine. Then went up Sweeney Ridge and we all scootered down it at breakneck speeds (literally breakneck, al pine fell down and broke his neck). Also, a dog chased david for about a mile and then bit his leg off. It was a really fun day!
Hiked up in 20 mins form the parking lot via the "Direct" trail with Rad, Al, and Ben. T'was a very clear day, and you could see the Farallones. We then drove over to Sweeney Ridge above Pacifica to have a look at the NIKE missile base up there, scootered down the road, and then proceeded to stuff our faces at Fresh Choice in South SF.

Some of the best views of SF
Ridge trail offers some fantastic views of the city. Mt. Tam, Diablo, Davidson and endless views of the ocean and bay will reward those going on a clear day.

Run from HotelGreat run from nearby airport hotel. Whenever I'm overnighting at San Francisco Intl, I'll take a cab to the far end and run the ridgeline.
