Satan before our ascend

The summit of Satan (2421 m) seen at the dawn before our ascend. It was the only moment during the day, when one could see the summit from below. It became cloudy very soon. A snow storm with lightnings made us come back after having reached 2300 m in the ascend couloir. We followed normal route from Mlynická valley. The route is depicted. Full winter gear was needed for the ascend. The ski slope in the foreground was still operating. It is the ski slope from the chalet below Solisko (1830 m) to Štrbské pleso (1400 m).
