Approach

See the Getting There Section of the Mount warren Page for directions to both climbs.

Route Description

Roach describes going up the southwest ridge from Summit Lake but I found it easier to head up the grassy slopes from the road and parking lot. There is no trail so just make a beeline for the summit. About halfway up the grass thins and the larger boulders begin. Pick your way up the easiest line to the summit. The climb can be fully seen from above and below. Depending on where you start from, its about a 400-500 foot elevation gain.

Essential Gear

None needed.

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
