[Updated: 11/19/2011] SummitPosters, if you like this report, please vote for it, thanks! Check my profile for all my state highpoint reports.It took us 5 hours to drive from MSP airport, we got to the trailhead at 3 and completed the hike in 3 hours.
One thing to keep in mind is when you get to the lake and ready to bear left, there is no sign so you have to keep an eye open for a vague trail to your left and leading uphill.
Take a photo for the trail illustration at the trailhead.
It's a fun hike :)
