The one time I summited Sublette Peak was in the spring when it was snow covered. I snowshoed up to the summit ridge and I had just a little scrambling to get to the top. I went up the south side from near the top of the pass. It is true what Bob Sihler has said about the rock, complete breccia, because it breccias off into your breakin hand. The view of Mt Sublette from the peak is sublime, a great little summit with a big view.
