Attempt on Titus Ridge

On May 30, 2009, mfox79 and I attempted to do the Titus Ridge Traverse which takes in four 10,000 ft. peaks in the Smoky Mountains of Idaho. We were able to complete Lower Titus (10,005 ft.) and Titus (10,110 ft.) but we weren't able to finish with Bromaghin (10,225 ft.) and Saviers (10,441 ft.). We got 3/4 of the way up to Bromaghin and had to turn back due to an approaching storm but it was still a fun day. Here are some pics from our trip.

Nice Album

I did this hike in early July and the entire mountainside was covered in wild flowers. Even though they are not high mountains, the Smokies are rugged and beautiful.

Re: Nice Album

Thanks! I really enjoyed the area. I'll probably be back later this summer to finish off Bromaghin and Saviers.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
