OfflineA Little About Me
My parents gave me the travel bug when I was very young, taking me to the Everglades National Park in Florida. Since then, my travels have taken me to 34 countries on six continents.
Peaks ascended include Morocco's Jebel Toubkal, at 4167 MSL North Africa's second highest mountain, some climbing up in the Andes of Peru near Huarez in the Cordillera Blanca through Punta Union pass (4750 MSL) and a solo climb up Mt Ruapehu (Tahurangi peak, 2797 MSL) on the North Island of NZ, and of course the Rockies of Canada, with many smaller “hills” such as the Adirondak High Peaks near Lake Placid, NY.
Planning a climb of Mt Kilamanjaro in 2011... if my knees are good!
