The vectorized contour lines in USGS GEOPDF products allow you to zoom in to any level you desire and their data from MT_Granite_Peak_20110517_TM_geo.pdf says the highest spire is 11880. I don't pretend to know where the data comes from, but I'm guessing it's a satellite photo based approximation. I climbed it and I trust a GPS fix (not barometer based) that pegged it as 12013.
