Drove down Blue Ridge Road to a point about 0.9 miles down from the junction with Forest Service Road 3N39. Clear parking spot for one vehicle. Hiked up the well-defined use trail I'd seen on Google Earth. ABout 1 mile round trip with 250 feet or so elevation gain. Long pants were a good choice.

Where is the summit?
Took a while of looking around to find what appeared to be the high spot...walked along the cliff edge snapped photos and I moved on.
Cleaning up the higher HPS peaks north of Baldy. Finished with Wright after Pine and Dawson. Hardly any views after enjoying some great vistas on the other peaks, but no complaints as we were heading back to the car at Guffy Campground.

Took the dogs up the Acorn trail to stretch their legs. Scary little snow up there!

fantastic hike
Up the Acorn Trail/PCT. Not great views from the summit, but just off the summit is a stellar view of Wrightwood.

Wright - Pine - Dawson
Though its the HP of Blue Ridge it has the most insignificant view due to the nice forest cover at the summit. Part of a 5 summit (4 HPS) day w/Blue Ridge & Circle Mtn. Wanted to hike the PCT from Gobblers Knob to summit, but the road was closed at Lone Pine Canyon Rd and didn't want to add the extra 6 miles RT.
Short trek up from Blue Ridge Rd. Did Pine Mtn. and Dawson Peak also. Great day!

Ski
Summited during a ski outing. Missed the trail turn off on the way down and ended up skiing down the East resort slopes and hiking back to the car along the road. I have never seen so many snowboarders in my life. :-)

Wright-Pine-Dawson
Great day for a hike, but not much of a peak. Pine and Dawson were much better. Didn't see anybody all day.
We bagged 5 peaks today. Pine, Dawson, Baldy, Harwood, and Wright. What a great day!

Rainy
Did this one in the rain from the end of the dirt road. Wear bright colors - this area is infested with hunters. Mediocre views.

Acorn Trail
Acorn Trail is very nice. Probably one of my favorites at this point. The peak sucked Therons' Huawallywackers but the hike was great. Did this one with my brother. Not another soul in site.

Acorn TrailTraining hike on the Acorn Trail, it was a beautiful if a bit buggy. Summit encircled by trees, no register, no marks, but still a good day.
