Overview

This is a six mile loop hike that combines the following four trails: Juniper Cliffside, Juniper Riverside, Sunflower and Rojo Grande Trails. These trails remain on the floor of the Palo Duro Canyon in the eastern half of the park.

Getting There

All of the above trails can be accessed via well signed trailheads on the park’s main road.

Juniper/Cliffside Trail

This is a 2.85 mile long trail that parallels the park’s main road going from Lighthouse Trailhead to another trailhead at the far eastern end of the park. A big cave can be seen at the east end of the trail.
