Mount Rainier

I started the two week sight-seeing trip in August 2003 visiting and admiring the cascade volcanoes at Washington's Mount Rainier. I camped for a view days at the foot of the mountain in one of the southwest-facing lahar valleys.

Mount St. Helens

After Mount Rainer I headed south to visit Mount St. Helens. I camped in the forests north of the mountain.

Crater Lake

After Mount St. Helens I drove to Crater Lake and camped a little bit to the north at Diamond lake. I circled Crater Lake at the rim and hiked down a brief trail to the lake.

Mount Shasta

I finally made my way back to Los Angeles. On my way I passed Mount Shasta and I fell completely in love with this mountain. I think at that time I decided to climb that mountain someday...

Re: Nice album

Thanks. Although I did not climb any mountains on that trip it was nevertheless most memorable.

Parents

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
