Beginning of Goat Trail Traverse

The beginning of the notorious "Goat Trail Traverse" that leads towards the southern ridgeline of Microwave Ridge. The narrow path can be seen just above left-center of this photo (but zooming in the photo might be needed to find it). This beginning section of the "Goat Trail Traverse" is both the easiest to follow and the least technical to hike. Further along the route are multiple steep scree gullies (not shown in this photo) which involve careful foot placements and exposed sidehilling. Photo taken on September 7, 2013.
